Wesley Fox teaches a monthly art for seniors at the Wesleyan Cafe – held at The Woman’s Club of Red Bank!
We stopped in to see what was happening and met Wesley Fox and his dog, Samantha Sue as they were setting up for his art class. Wesley is obviously and accomplished artist. He resides at The Weslyan in Red Bank and participates in the United Methodist Communities activities by teaching classes each month at the new Wesleyan Cafe held at The Woman’s Club.
Wesley brought his sunflower art work – show below. Today’s class was to paint the tulips you see on the table.
United Methodist Communities hosts Wednesday activities for seniors in
something they call The Wesleyan Cafe. We met Linda, the Community Enrichment Associate and she was preparing the rooms and prepping some lite fare for the seniors to eat. The Coordinator, Mary, shared their calendar and we’ve added their April events onto our Woman’s Club calendar.
ALL Seniors in and around Red Bank are welcome to stop in!
As we were chatting, the seniors were involved in a YOGA class taught by Jannette. Some of the seniors were a little camera shy as they were doing therapeutic, chair yoga … but they were definitely having fun. I met with Jannette after the classes and we plan to share more yoga information in the future.
