Reserve Space at our Club

Active, paid members of the Woman’s Club of Red Bank may host private parties, workshops, networking events, and public gatherings at our club, the historic Reckless Estate.

2. Submit a Request

Is your date available? Soon you’ll be able to log into Communal, our membership and facility system, to reserve space at the Club. Reservations require a 4-hour minimum (including setup and cleanup) and a donation to confirm the booking.

Guidelines (New System Coming Soon)

The scheduling calendar allows anyone to view availability, but only active members may submit event requests. Members must be logged in to request space. All reservations are subject to review and approval and include a recommended Operational Support Donation to help maintain and preserve our historic clubhouse, the Reckless Estate.

To ensure a positive experience for all events, please review the following:

  • Member Requirement: Only active, paid members may reserve space. The member-host must be present for the entire event and is responsible for the Operational Support Donation, as well as opening, closing, and cleaning the facility.
  • Log In: Members can log into the Communal portal and navigate to FacilitiesCreate Booking to submit their event date, time, and details.
  • Operational Support Donations: Recommended donations help support the maintenance and preservation of our historic club, the Reckless Estate.
  • Event Insurance: Proof of event insurance is required at least one week prior to the event. Access to the Club will not be granted without it. Members may request a one-time certificate from their homeowner’s insurance provider or obtain coverage through a single-event insurer.
  • Alcohol: May be served but not sold. Alcohol may not be referenced in any event promotions.
  • Religious Use: Religious events are welcome; however, recurring monthly services are not permitted due to zoning regulations.
  • Cancellations and Refunds: If an event is canceled, the Operational Support Donation will be refunded.

What Happens Next?

  1. Request & Revew: Your request will move through 3 stages: New Request → Under Review → Approved. You will receive email notifications from each stage.
  2. Approval & Payment: If approved, you will receive an email invoice for the recommended Operational Support Donation (to pay online). Your reservation is confirmed once payment is received.
  3. Event Preparation: Prior to your event, you must submit proof of insurance. After confirmation, you will receive the Set-Up/Clean-Up Guide and the access code for the clubhouse.
