Help Us With Our Wish List

The Woman’s Club of Red Bank welcomes support from adults, teens, and children. Want to volunteer? Tell us how you’d like to help. From school service projects and donation drives to fundraising, internships, and clubhouse cleanups—we appreciate your ideas and your time.

Wish List Ideas & Projects in Progress

  • Library Room (1st floor) – Convert into a functional space for small table gatherings, such as Mahjong.
  • ART Room (2nd floor) – S.W. bedroom slated for the Art Committee.
  • ARCHIVE Room (2nd floor) – the old Project Write Now room has been slated for file cabinets and storage of historical files. Need metal file cabinets for some fireproofing.

    • Challenges: Some members don’t receive or check email. Some not on social media.
    • Updates (May 2026): Carol Ingaro upgraded Mailchimp and authenticated the domain.
    • Next Steps:
      • Create segmented lists (Members, Board, General)
      • Integrate Communal with Mailchimp
      • Add SMS/text messaging for members
  • Committees: Many committees do not have a CHAIR or do not have volunteers. Either committees should be defunct or a process should be created entice people to sign up/follow-up. Committees are currently listed: https://womansclubofredbank.org/committees/

BUILDING & GROUND

  • Clean out kitchen and china cabinet. This seems to be an ongoing project.

  • Electrical Upgrade for the 3rd floor.
  • We need a front door camera and a method of checking the cameras online.
  • Move the slate slabs (on side) to the backyard to reduce weeds/mowing needs
  • Replace toilet (repeated toilet issues)

BUILDING PRESERVATION

  • Apply for Historic House Grants – We need someone to chair this committee and find/apply for grants.
  • Archive – Consider purchasing a storage device (terabyte) to keep in a fireproof box at the Woman’s Club office. Store logos, photos, digitized versions of articles, book, etc. Purchase storage. Purchase a fireproof box (or see if the key box is sufficient).
  • Sewing Room – 2nd floor holiday storage… ?
  • 2nd Floor bathroom – potentially functional ?
  • 3rd Floor renovations: all rooms need a lot of work.
