Get ready for a night of laughter and great company at the Woman’s Club of Red Bank! On Friday, May 22, our historic clubhouse at 164 Broad Street will transform into one of the funniest rooms in Monmouth County as we host a Comedy Night Fundraiser featuring a fantastic lineup of regional stand-up talent, light refreshments, and a lively evening with friends and neighbors—all in support of the club and its community initiatives.

Meet the Lineup

We’ve curated a diverse roster of comics to ensure there’s a punchline for everyone:

Stephen Steel (MC): With over two decades of experience, Stephen has performed everywhere from major clubs to every pizza place in New Jersey. Having opened for legends like Uncle Floyd and Mike Marino, he knows exactly how to keep the energy high.
Sue Ryerson: Starting the night off right, Sue brings that authentic Jersey energy we all know and love.
Tania Lewis: A native “Westchester street” comic, Tania is a force of clever wit and deadpan delivery. Fresh off the release of her book, The Other Guide to the World; Atlas Snubbed!, she brings a world-class perspective to the Red Bank stage.
Helene Angley: Our headliner for the evening! Known affectionately as “that tall blonde comic,” Helene’s seasoned comedic timing is the perfect way to cap off our fundraiser.

Beyond the laughs, this evening supports the Woman’s Club of Red Bank. Proceeds from your $45 ticket go directly toward the club’s initiatives and the upkeep of our beautiful historic clubhouse. It’s a wonderful opportunity to gather with neighbors, support local arts, and give back to a cherished community institution.

Doors open at 6:30 PM for refreshments and socializing, and the first joke takes the stage at 7:30 PM.
