Art, Smiles, and Shamrocks: A Night of Creative Connection

Sip & Paint with Jennifer Noonan

A Breath of Spring Air – The March Club Gathering

After a long winter marked by heavy snowfalls and relentless blizzards, Tuesday night felt like a gift. With the doors of our historic clubhouse swung wide to the unseasonably warm spring air, the Woman’s Club of Red Bank welcomed about 20 members and guests for our monthly club gathering.

From Lines to Leprechauns

The highlight of the evening was a Sip & Paint session led by the talented Jennifer Noonan. Whether we identified as seasoned artists or self-proclaimed “non-crafters,” Jennifer guided us through the process with ease. It was truly fascinating to watch how a simple circle here and a strategic line there slowly morphed into a whimsical leprechaun gnome on our glasses.

While we all followed the same steps, the results were a beautiful reflection of our community: similar in spirit, yet entirely unique in style.

Sips, Snacks, and Successes

As we painted, we enjoyed a festive spread of “green” treats:

  • Traditional Irish soda bread and shortbread cookies
  • Sharp Irish cheddar cheese
  • An assortment of wine and water

We want to send a huge Thank You to the members who so generously donated the refreshments we enjoyed. Your thoughtfulness and hospitality are what make the Woman’s Club of Red Bank feel like such a home.

Between brushstrokes, our President, Christina, shared updates on the club’s recent activities, highlighting the diligent grant work being spearheaded by Sue. With several new members and guests in the room, we took the time to introduce ourselves, fostering the warm, lively environment that makes our club so special.

It was a wonderful reminder that whether we are working on community grants or painting gnomes, we are always better when we create together.
