Poolside YOGA For a Purpose

Sometimes the best way to strengthen friendships is simply to slow down and spend time together.

To escape the July heat, members of the Woman’s Club of Red Bank gathered off-site on Tuesday evening for our monthly member gathering, Poolside Yoga for a Purpose, graciously hosted by Vice President Joanne Farina at her home.

The evening began poolside, where members rolled out their yoga mats for an all-levels yoga session led by Amanda Feinstein, owner of Jandee Yoga (www.jandeeyoga.com). Amanda guided everyone through a relaxing practice that welcomed both experienced yogis and first-time participants, creating an atmosphere of calm, encouragement, and fun.

Moments from Poolside Yoga for a Purpose

From peaceful yoga poses to candid conversations over pizza and wings, the photos capture the warmth, friendship, and sense of community that define the Woman’s Club of Red Bank.

Following yoga, the gathering transitioned indoors as everyone escaped the lingering heat and continued the evening in Joanne’s kitchen. Members enjoyed pizza, wings, refreshments, and plenty of conversation. Laughter filled the room as friends caught up, welcomed newer members, and shared stories, making it clear that the Woman’s Club is about much more than meetings—it’s about building lasting friendships and supporting one another.

Events like these remind us that our monthly gatherings can take many forms. Whether we’re volunteering in the community, hosting educational programs, or simply enjoying each other’s company, every gathering strengthens the bonds that make our club such a special organization.

A heartfelt thank you goes to Joanne Farina for opening her home and creating such a welcoming space for everyone. Her generosity and hospitality made the evening a wonderful success.

A special thank you also goes to Alex Daly, a rising junior at Middletown North High School, who volunteered her time to help with event planning, setup, cleanup, and assisting throughout the evening. Her willingness to lend a hand behind the scenes helped everything run smoothly, and we are grateful for his support.

We look forward to seeing everyone at our next member gathering! We’re working on setting up another White Hot Summer Soirée for August.
