The Woman’s Club of Red Bank invites the community to our annual fundraiser, Lights, Camera, Legacy: Women in Communications Shaping the Future of Cinema, on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the historic Reckless Estate in Red Bank, New Jersey.
Enjoy a continental breakfast and an engaging panel discussion featuring women working across the entertainment industry. From the script to the screen, and from the classroom to the festival circuit, women are helping shape the future of cinema.
Honoring Diane Raver and Celebrating 25 Years of the Garden State Film Festival
This year’s annual fundraiser honors Diane Raver, co-founder of the Garden State Film Festival, as the festival celebrates its 25th year.
The event brings together community members and guests to celebrate women’s contributions to film and communications while discussing mentorship, representation, and opportunities for the next generation.
Women in Communications Panel Discussion
Our expert panel will discuss breaking barriers, creating mentorship pipelines, and building a more inclusive cinematic future.
Panelists include:
- Casey DeStefano, DGA — Director and mentor actively guiding and empowering the next generation of young women actors.
- Jessica Varian Carrol — Author shaping the narrative and bringing women’s stories from the page to the screen.
- Madison Santos — Actor and producer championing female-led projects in front of and behind the camera.

The Woman’s Club of Red Bank’s annual fundraiser does more than bring the community together—it helps support the continued preservation and maintenance of our historic clubhouse, the Reckless Estate.
Funds raised through this event help the Woman’s Club continue caring for this historic property and pursuing preservation projects that protect the estate for future generations. The Club is also actively pursuing preservation grants and additional funding to address important property needs.
