Beautification Committee Hits Another Target!

Restoration Projects

Today was a big day at the Womans Club. For the last couple of months, our Beautification Chair, Carmela Sgalambro and committee members have been working hard in getting ready some special touches for the house. Today, the 16 of the recently restored and framed historic photo collection was hung on the walls (special thanks to Evelyn Reina for beautiful photo tags and Frank Sgalambro for always helping and sharing his expertise).

We couldn’t have done it without the restoration skills of Lenni from Old Photos Repaired and Jeff from Frame Tech for his masterful framing skills. Thank you both for helping us beautify our home for all to enjoy.

We also decorated one of our parlor alcoves with restored cane parlor chairs (thanks to Evelyn Reina for her dedication and long hours restoring the chairs that were unusable for a long time). Gone are the 72 old chairs crowding that alcove, hello to the new sitting area with reupholstered chairs!
