What an absolutely unforgettable day we had at our recent “Brunch with the Beyond” event! The air was electric with anticipation, the tables beautifully set, and most importantly, the room was filled with incredible energy and heartwarming connections. This year’s brunch was more than just a gathering; it was a vibrant tapestry of shared experiences, profound insights, and a testament to the power of community coming together for a meaningful cause.
Step & Repeat
From the moment our guests began arriving, greeted by the lively chatter and the inviting atmosphere, it was clear this day was going to be special. Our “step & repeat” backdrop buzzed with activity, capturing smiles and laughter from every corner of the room. It was truly inspiring to see women of all ages and walks of life – our dedicated members, cherished best friends, new guests, supportive co-workers, loving sisters, bright-eyed high school volunteers, and Jennie brought her Mom – all gathered together, sharing in the spirit of the day. This beautiful mix of generations and relationships highlighted the inclusive and welcoming heart of our community.
The Panel Discussion with Mediums
A central, deeply touching moment of the day was the powerful discussion led by our esteemed medium panelists, Benedicta Apwah, Gina Cannone, and Jen Moon, skillfully guided by our brilliant moderator, Joanne Farina. Not only did they share their wisdom on the panel, but they generously stayed to offer personal one-on-one readings afterward. Thank you, ladies, for dedicating your time and energy to our guests!
Honoring Donnalyn Geigerich
The event also held a particularly poignant segment where we paused to honor the memory of a truly special individual. We extend our deepest, heartfelt gratitude to Thomas Zapcic for his incredible generosity and thoughtful tribute. Tom made a wonderful gift in honor of the cherished memory of Donnalyn Geigerich, presenting the Woman’s Club with his wife’s beautiful photo. This gesture touched us all deeply, reminding us of the enduring impact individuals have on our lives and community.
Mystical Eye Work
Throughout the room, attendees couldn’t miss the stunning Mystic Eye artwork hanging above the mantle. This magnificent piece, painted by the talented Jennifer Noonan, is available for sale, with proceeds going directly to support the Woman’s Club. A Heartfelt Thank You to All Who Made It Possible!
This fundraiser would simply not have been the success it was without the incredible support from so many. First, to every single person who attended “Brunch with the Beyond,” thank you for your presence, your enthusiasm, and your generous contributions.
A massive thank you goes to our dedicated planning committee, whose vision guided the entire event, and to all the members and volunteers who tirelessly helped with the set-up, execution, and cleanup, ensuring every detail was perfect. A special note of thanks goes to Carol Ingaro for lending her graphic design talents to the event’s aesthetics, creating the fabulous step & repeat banner, and creating the beautiful “women in motion” totes and mugs.
