BIO
Meagan Solomon‘s journey has taken her from aspiring news reporter to dedicated advocate for patriotism. She began her academic career at Clarion University of Pennsylvania, where she studied to become a news reporter. Her early professional life saw her working in the restaurant industry in Ocean City, Maryland, before transitioning to retail as a Store Director at Victoria’s Secret Beauty. Her career path then led her to JPMorgan Chase, and later to the prestigious Soros Fund Management, where she spent over 12 years working in the Private Family Office of George Soros.
During the pandemic, Meagan worked at a financial firm in Shrewsbury, before joining Triatomic Capital, a startup fund in Manhattan. Her diverse career is matched by her passion for serving the community. In 2024, Meghan was crowned Ms. New Jersey International, a title she uses to promote her platform, Sunflowers for Soldiers—an initiative dedicated to “Growing Patriotism Through Education.”
Through Sunflowers for Soldiers, Meagan raises funds to provide patriotic learning experiences for young people in New Jersey. One of the key programs involves taking busloads of students on field trips to the Vietnam Veterans site in Holmdel, where they can engage in hands-on, immersive learning. Meagan believes that the most impactful education happens outside the classroom, where students can truly connect with history and patriotism in meaningful ways.
