The Clubhouse Was Cooking: The Burners Bring the Heat to Red Bank!

May 29, 2026 Reckless Steamy Nights with The Burners

The Woman’s Club of Red Bank was filled with soulful rhythms and community spirit as our non-profit partners, the Jersey Shore Jazz & Blues Foundation (JSJBF), brought their spectacular “Reckless Steamy Nights” concert series back to our historic clubhouse. The featured act, The Burners, delivered an absolute master class in 1960s and 70s organ-trio jazz to a deeply appreciative, attentive audience.

Founded by guitarist Ron Rauso during the pandemic, this organ trio brings together three seasoned musicians with a shared passion for classic soul jazz and blues. Featuring Rauso on guitar, Dan Kostelnik on Hammond organ, and David Sang on drums, the group draws inspiration from legendary organ-driven jazz artists while delivering a sound rooted in groove, improvisation, and musical chemistry.

Honoring Veterans Through Art and Community

The magic wasn’t just in the music. At intermission, the evening took on a deeper meaning as we spotlighted the stunning artwork of Vietnam veteran Norman Salt, which beautifully adorned our clubhouse walls. Coming just after Memorial Day, it was a poignant moment to honor his service alongside fellow veteran and former JSJBF board member Charlie Wuth, who helps organize the annual veterans benefit our organizations proudly support.

It was a perfect showcase of what makes the Woman’s Club so special: bringing neighbors together through world-class art, timeless music, and meaningful community partnerships.

If you missed this unforgettable night, you can still catch The Burners during their Tuesday night residency (6–9 PM) at the newly opened Mossuto’s Market on Route 35 in Wall.

Thank you to the JSJBF and everyone who attended for making it a night to remember! You can read more on the JSJBF blog. The next Reckless Steamy Nights concert is Friday, June 19th with Slim & the South Street Hustle.
