Youth Music & Art

The Womans Club Art Committee is collaborating with The Mark LaRochelle Youth Open Mic youth group and will soon go on the road with them!

As many of you already know, our Art Committee Chair, Peggy Massee, launched a local Art On Display at the Womans Club last spring. And JSJBF Mark LaRochell Youth Open Mic youth group has been performing open microphone nights at the Womans Club once a month for the past few years.

Well, the Jersey Shore Jazz & Blues youth group just did their last Red Bank performance and will soon be going on the road alternating between the Musician’s Workshop in Manalapan, the Belmar Arts Center, and Ocean County Music. It is sad to see them leave, but we are happy to announce that our Art Committee is going on the road with them! The art will consist of young local artists.

MUSIC

The singers and musicians who performed were: Maddie Freeman, Brendan McGreevy, Teddy, Phillip, and Michael. They played alone and together with an awsome final jam session!

ARTISTS

The youth artists on display are: Kate Smigie, Fiona Gourlie, and Kalani Kelterborn-Johnson.
