Spring into Success: A Night of Growth, Giving, and Inspiration at the Woman’s Club

Dee Dee Williams of Three Little Kittens

On the evening of April 1st, the Woman’s Club of Red Bank hosted its monthly meeting, “Spring into Success,” and what a beautiful way it was to kick off the season! Members flowed in throughout the evening to connect, reflect, and engage in an event that truly embraced the spirit of renewal.

The Clubhouse buzzed with energy as members gathered to admire a stunning framed dress generously donated by Jennifer Noonan—a piece that drew both admiration and conversation. Attendees planted seeds and small plants in cheerful little pots to take home, symbolizing not just spring, but our shared commitment to personal and communal growth.

We were also honored to welcome a very special guest, Dee Dee Williams, founder of Three Little Kittens, a non-profit based in Asbury Park. As April marks the beginning of kitten season, Dee Dee’s story was both timely and heartwarming.

Dee Dee shared how she found herself with three newborn kittens and no resources. Drawing from her background and her mother’s legacy—who once led what is now The Arc of Monmouth—Dee Dee developed the Tender Loving Kittencare (TLK) Philosophy, combining her knowledge of behavioral studies with hands-on compassion. From those first three kittens, her mission blossomed into a non-profit that now supports dozens of volunteers and fosters from April to October each year.

Whether you’re a cat person, a dog lover, or someone who just appreciates a great story of perseverance and purpose, Dee Dee’s 40-year journey and unwavering dedication struck a chord with everyone in the room.

As the evening wrapped, attendees left not only with plants in hand but with hearts full of inspiration.
